SOUNDS OF SILENCE
Guy once again talked his subjects into a walk through Franklin Canyon Park, this time Simon and Garfunkel. The shoot would produce a number of iconic images, one of which was used on the cover of the “Sounds of Silence” single. The film used for the cover was not returned however a number of other photos from that day are still in the archive, including this impressionistic shot offered here which is informed by Guy’s days at the University of Florence, where he studied classical painting and art history.
